These Terms are an agreement between you and Christopher Smith d/b/a Legacy Daily, Jewett, Texas. By creating an account, you agree to them. Contact: legacydailyhq@gmail.com.

1. The service

Legacy Daily sends daily memory questions by email or text, saves answers to a private family timeline, and offers optional printed keepsake books.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be 18 or older to create an account. The account holder is responsible for the family members they invite. Children under 13 may take part only through a parent or guardian's account with verifiable parental consent, as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Subscription, automatic renewal, and cancellation

  • Free trial: new families get a free 7-day trial. You must provide a payment card at sign-up, but you won't be charged during the trial.
  • Reminder: we will email you 2 days before your trial ends to remind you that your first charge is coming.
  • Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing. You can cancel anytime during the 7 days from your account's billing page or by emailing legacydailyhq@gmail.com.
  • After the trial: unless you cancel before the trial ends, your card will be charged $6.00 (plus applicable sales tax) on day 8 and on the same day each month after that.
  • Your subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize these recurring charges.
  • Your trial end date and first charge date are shown at sign-up and in your confirmation email. One free trial per family.
  • You can cancel anytime online from your account's billing page (or by emailing legacydailyhq@gmail.com). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you won't be charged again. Past charges are not refunded except where required by law or at our discretion.
  • We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
  • After each purchase we email a confirmation that includes these terms and how to cancel.

4. Keepsake books

Books are optional one-time purchases and never charged automatically. The price, shipping, and tax are shown before you order. Books are printed on demand by a third-party printer. If a book arrives damaged or misprinted, contact us within 30 days for a reprint or refund.

5. Your content

You and your family own your stories, photos, and recordings. You grant us a limited license to store, display, and print them only to provide the service. You confirm you have the right to share what you upload. Don't post anything unlawful, hateful, or that violates someone else's rights.

6. Messaging

By opting in to texts, you agree to receive about one recurring question per day. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Availability and disclaimers

The service is provided "as is." We work to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We recommend exporting your stories regularly. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms. On closure you may export your content as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and applicable federal law, with venue in Leon County, Texas, except where your local consumer law gives you other rights.

10. Changes

We will notify you by email of material changes at least 30 days in advance.
